Nicholas Royle’s latest novel, First Novel, is published by Vintage. He is the author of seven novels, two novellas and a short story collection.
Nicholas is a senior lecturer in Creative Writing at the Manchester Writing School of Manchester Metropolitan University. He also runs Nightjar Press, publishing original short stories as signed, limited-edition chapbooks. He has edited sixteen anthologies of short stories, is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4 and works as an editor for Salt Publishing.
